Many thanks to everyone who took part in the Rothervalley Fun Run on Saturday the 17th May 2014.

The 11th Rotherham Scout Group has actively supported children and young people of Kiveton Park, Wales and surrounding villages for many years.

It was decided at the last executive meeting that we would need to raise £25,000 before we start to look around for a replacement building for the scout hut.

We have planted over 100 Oak, Ash and Hazel trees on Kiveton Waters to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee, creating a permanent landmark for people to enjoy in future years on the site of the old colliery.

In July two of our Explorers represented Rotherham on a trip of a lifetime to the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden.

To celebrate 100 years of scouting, members from the 11th Rotherham Scout group joined over 3,000 other members of the scouting movement to preform for over 30,000 people at the o2 Arena (Millennium Dome) in London. And what and event it was!
